The story behind Kentan

Kentan Staffing Solutions was founded by two friends, Dr. Simon Samaha and Bill Ciemny. Their individual expertise in the consulting space, Simon in healthcare and Bill in staffing and consulting, led them to combine their efforts. This partnership led to the formation of a staffing solution firm designed to target well recognized and established healthcare consulting companies.

Recognizing the need for unique and highly specialized clinical subject matter experts on a per-project basis, Simon and Bill embarked on a journey to solve this problem. The solution is based on finding the right SME for each and every project. Finding this expert is not based solely on technical expertise, but also based on finding the best personality fit for the client, and their clients.  Kentan’s work begins with understanding “the need” and, after a detailed vetting process, finding a tailored solution.

Kentan means “tiger lily”, which encapsulates a few meanings: the tiger lily is a symbol of friendship, wealth, pride and prosperity.  Our approach is centered on a personal touch with our clients and thriving to help them achieve success.
